Deosect® Topical Spray

Deosect® is a potent topical spray designed to aid in the control of flies and lice on horses, ponies, and donkeys. The product requires dilution with water immediately before application. It can be applied using either a hand sprayer or a sponge, taking care to avoid the eyes and any broken skin.

To control flies, begin applications at the start of the fly season and continue monthly for general control, or bi-weekly for severe cases involving the head and face. For lice, apply upon detection and repeat as necessary at 14-day intervals.

Application Instructions: Deosect® must be freshly diluted and mixed with water to create a solution before use, employing either a knapsack, hand sprayer, or a sponge for application. The solution should be utilized within 24 hours, avoiding direct spray into the animals' eyes.

Dilution rates range from 10ml Deosect® in 500ml water to 200ml in 10 litres, depending on the volume required. A medium fine spray setting is recommended for application to ensure thorough coverage without causing fogging.

Specific Coverage Recommendations:

• Adult horses: 500ml of the diluted solution per animal.
• Ponies: 125ml of the diluted solution per animal.

Withdrawal Period: This product is not for use in animals intended for human consumption.
