By targeting specific inflammatory pathways involved in allergic skin disease, Zenrelia helps reduce itching, irritation and discomfort, allowing affected dogs to enjoy an improved quality of life.
Zenrelia is suitable for dogs aged 12 months and older and is administered once daily, with or without food, as directed by your veterinary surgeon.

- 15mg Film-Coated Tablets (This listing)
Available pack sizes include boxes of 30 or 90 tablets, depending on the selected variant.
Active Ingredient
Each tablet contains the following active ingredient:
- Ilunocitinib
Ilunocitinib is a selective Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor that works by reducing the activity of inflammatory and itch-inducing pathways involved in allergic skin disease.
Typical Dosage
The recommended dose is 0.6–0.8mg of ilunocitinib per kilogram of body weight, administered orally once daily. The appropriate tablet strength and dosing regimen should be determined by your veterinary surgeon based on your dog's body weight and clinical condition.
Zenrelia may be administered with or without food. Follow your veterinarian's instructions carefully and do not alter the prescribed dosage without veterinary advice.
Potential Side-Effects
As with all medicines, some dogs may experience side effects. Reported adverse reactions may include:
- Vomiting
- Diarrhoea
- Lethargy or tiredness
- Increased susceptibility to infections
- Changes in blood test parameters identified during veterinary monitoring
Because ilunocitinib affects immune system function, dogs receiving long-term treatment should be monitored by their veterinary surgeon. Contact your vet promptly if you notice any signs of illness, infection, or unexpected reactions.
